your next obsession:
limited edition satin stitch embroidery kits
most people think satin stitch requires endless patience – but it doesn’t when the materials work for you.
every kit includes:
🧵 smooth pearl cotton (size 8) that’s easy to see and handle
❤️ even-weave fabric with visible guide threads
🎨 full-colour printed designs for simple visual cues
🪡 long, comfortable needles for smooth stitching
far from dull, satin stitch is genuinely hard to put down. my patterns are made up of small and large shapes, each finished in a single colour.
the moment you complete one shape, you’re already excited to switch thread and tackle the next. Time slips away in the best way possible.
everything is curated to help you stitch evenly and feel satisfied, right from the start.
I’ve stitched exclusively with satin stitch for years – and I’m still hooked. it’s a true “rest for the mind” craft: rhythmic, meditative, and always rewarding.
beginners fall for it quickly, and even seasoned stitchers find endless joy in its simplicity.
psychologists call it the IKEA effect: we love things more when we make them ourselves. research from Harvard (Norton et al., 2012) proves it.
embroidery taps the same reward loop – you’re not just buying art, you’re making it with your own hands. that’s what makes every stitch so satisfying.
these kits are designed for true beginners, with illustrated instructions, high-quality materials, and everything you need.
you’ll be amazed at how good your first project looks.
backed by science, loved by stitchers
studies show crafts like embroidery reduce cortisol (stress hormone) and increase dopamine from small achievements.
the rhythmic movement is linked to mindfulness practices (similar to meditation, yoga, or colouring books).
a 2013 study from the British Journal of Occupational Therapy found that knitting and embroidery can reduce anxiety and increase happiness in 81% of participants.
it’s not just stitching – it’s brain chemistry on your side.
only available with the kits until October 21
not at all! these kits are designed for total beginners. every step is guided with clear visuals, the fabric is pre-printed in colour, and the included materials make stitching easy. plus there is a comprehensive video tutorial which covers absolutely every part of the process included in your kit.
you’ll be surprised how quickly you get the hang of it.
most people spread a kit over a few evenings or weekends. because the designs are broken into colourful shapes, you’ll feel a sense of progress with every session. it’s not about rushing – it’s about enjoying the process.
this is a pre-order drop.
all kits will be shipping by November 4. if delays happen, I will let you know asap via email.
shipping within the UK is generally 2-3 days. Europe, US and Canada on average arrives within 5-8 days. rest of the world can take up to 3 weeks in some cases, but generally 2 weeks is the sweet spot for most packages take.

because each kit is hand-assembled by me, I can only offer them in limited batches. drops make sure everything is made with care, and they keep the designs exclusive – once a drop ends, those kits are gone until next time if they get voted in to come back.
during this drop I'm offering 4 brand new kits and 4 old favourites out of 20+ designs I've previously introduced.
yes. studies show crafting reduces anxiety and improves mood (Harvard Health, 2021). stitchers say they lose hours without realising, because stitching is so absorbing. It’s one of the easiest ways to give your brain a break.
I've been known to convert a few folks from hating satin stitch to absolutely loving it through these kits.
absolutely! what a lovely gesture.
the kits make thoughtful presents – whether for a creative friend, someone who wants to try a new hobby, or even as a self-care gift to yourself.
simply leave me a note in your cart and let me know if it's a gift, and I'll even wrap it for you!
the kits are recommended for ages 14+ (because of sharp needles and scissors). younger makers can enjoy it with adult supervision.
you’re not alone.
I include detailed guidance, and you can always reach out for extra tips. think of it as stitching with a friendly teacher in your pocket.
the designs of these kits are broken into colourful shapes, so you’re constantly switching colours and finishing little sections. it’s fast, fun, and genuinely hard to put down.
yes! because you see progress so quickly, motivation stays high. many people who thought they “weren’t craft people” have finished their kits and felt so proud.
nope – everything you need to complete the project is included in the kit. if you’d like to frame your finished piece, I can recommend makers who specialise in custom frames (totally optional).
and if you’d like a little something extra, I also offer a few handmade leather goodies – designed and stitched by me – that pair beautifully with the kits.
