Yr Wyddfa
Nerd facts:
As some of you may already know, this mountain also goes by another (English) name, Snowdon. But it's rightful Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa. Same goes for the name of the national park, Eryri (Welsh), Snowdonia (English).
Welsh language is beautiful and fascinating, but it needs to be preserved, protected and promoted. Yr Wyddfa got its name from a local myth you can read about here.
The mountain stands at 3560 feet tall, which might not sound like a lot to some, but it's the highest peak in Wales as well as England.
And if you don't wanna climb it yourself, there's another way to get up to the summit. A train! Yup, a little loco which was first opened to tourists in 1896.

FAQs
Absolutely! I'm always on the look out for beautiful places. If you have a landscape scene in mind, the best thing to do is email me with your idea and some photos for reference! I consider every single suggestion!
That's totally up to you!
All Squad patterns come with 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8" templates. Depending on your preferred way of stitching (aka what type of thread you're using and how many strands of it) 5" or 6" is the sweet middle ground
I stitch all Squad patterns in 3.94" Nurge hoops using single strands of DMC Stranded Cotton (Mouline Special) and re-hoop in 2.75" hoops by Hardwicke Manor for display
Go wild, I don't mind
I call it "stitch hacking"
It's nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with the right materials and tools.
Each Squad Pattern comes with nearly 50 pages of instructions, visuals, links to goodies and tips for the best looking outcome!
