join the Stitch Along

a guided embroidery project you can follow along with, step by step – whether you’re stitching live with others or quietly on your own

what is a Stitch Along?

a Stitch Along (often called a SAL) is a shared embroidery project where everyone works on the same design over a set period of time (a full year in this case).

you’ll receive guidance, encouragement, and structure – but there’s no pressure to keep up. you can stitch at your own pace and enjoy the process in your own time.

think of it as slow, mindful stitching – together.

how the SAL works

welcome pack

upon signup you will receive two sets of templates (A4 + US Letter formats), a basic embroidery guide, the full DMC thread colour palette, and further information about the SAL

email updates

the thread colour palettee of the project is revealed upon sign up, and you will receive a weekly email every Thursday (starting Jan 1st) with a shape and colour to stitch that week.

miss a week?

you get access to updates related to this Stitch Along. if you missed a few weeks, or signed up after the start date, you'll have just one file to download to catch up on all previous weeks.

FAQs

you're welcome to start whenever you like. you'll find all up to date information upon signup.

not at all. it’s a year-long design, but you can stitch at your own pace.

totally up to you, but I recommend not going too crazy on the size. this is meant to be a gentle project for the entire year.

you can find my absolute favourite supplies here.

nope. you just need fabric, hoop, thread, and a needle, your usual supplies.

do as you wish, but it would kinda defeat the purpose of the entire project lol

once you click 'sign up' the system pushes a confirmation email to be sent to your inbox. you need to follow the instruction in that email to confirm you'd like to be subscribed to marketing emails.

once you confirm the subscription, the system will check and push the welcome email to be sent to you within a few minutes. this check happens immediately after you sign up (in case you're already signed up), 5 minutes later (to give you time to check your inbox and follow the instructions), and 1 hour later (in case you're busy at the moment).

if you don't confirm the email subscription within one hour of signing up, you will not be receiving any emails, and will need to sign up again, and confirm the subscription this time.

in rare instances and depending on your email provider, you might not receive an email from me, in this case please try signing up with a different email address/provider.

some email providers (such as the good old yahoo for example) just don't like these kinds of things sometimes, not always. I've done my best to configure all required settings to minimise the risk of this happening, but unfortunately I am not a coder, so it can still happen.

yes.
you’ll receive the pattern templates, colour palette, and an embroidery guide straight away.

the only thing revealed gradually is which colour goes into which shape, shared through weekly email updates.

note that the SAL will conclude around December 25th 2026, after which I will release it as a paid pattern.

you don’t need to be an expert stitcher to take part – just curious and willing to give it a go. I’m really looking forward to stitching along with you.
