not quite. I will reveal sneak-peeks early on, but the full design won't be revealed until order windows open back up for new subscribers (I'll update email list regularly with timings). however, you can keep designs a complete mystery until they arrive at your door, just don't revisit this page once you subscribe.
the bi-monthly plan (BASE CAMP) bills you every 2 months per kit and you can cancel anytime. the pre-paid plan (SUMMIT) is one payment upfront for all 5 kits including shipping (excludes kit 01). the saver plan (TRAIL PASS) is a one-time purchase – it includes full kit 02 plus basic supplies for kits 03–06 (excludes kit 01), with digital templates delivered by email each release.
nope, it's just plain. you will need to trace the provided (printed) template to the fabric yourself. instructions will be provided on how to do that with ease. I recommend using a heat erasable pen for this. they are widely available in stationary stores or online, but you can also purchase one from the "exclusives" collection on this page.
the bi-monthly plan (BASE CAMP) can be cancelled any time before the next billing date (8th of every other month), simply log into your account, and click "manage subscriptions". the pre-paid plan (SUMMIT) is a single upfront payment – it doesn't auto-renew. the saver (TRAIL PASS) is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
yes, completely. every kit includes a step-by-step guide that assumes zero experience. the colour-blocking technique used in these designs is one of the most beginner-friendly embroidery styles there is. the only thing I would ask you consider before subscribing is whether you have a good lighting set up for small scale embroidery, cause it can be intricate and I don't want you putting stress on your eyes. I recommend using a bright clip-on light, it's available as one of the add-ons on this page. my own vision is pretty good, but I couldn't do this kind of stitching without such a light.
yes, you select your hoop style (wood or 3D-printed) once – that preference applies to all kits in your subscription. and as for the needle case colourway (natural or midnight) - it's the leather object for kit 02 (Niagara Falls) only, each future kit will also come with a surprise leather object, and your colourway preference will be carried over to those, too. note that if you are also purchasing kit 01 (Yosemite) as an add-on, it will come with its own surprise leather object.
absolutely – kits ship worldwide. shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
for sure, just use the recipient's shipping address at checkout. you'll stay in control of the subscription, they will be receiving the kits. the pre-paid plan (Iconic Summit) is the cleanest way to gift this subscription, you just pre-pay for the entire thing in one go.
the PDF only subscription will be released on August 31, and will run along side the kit subscription, just a month behind (referencing shipping dates, not release dates). I'll release more details on the PDF only subscription soon. please subscribe to my email list to be in the loop.
