Moraine Lake
Nerd facts:
Moraine Lake’s legendary blue? It’s actually different every day. The exact shade shifts depending on the angle of the sun, the season, and even how much glacial silt is flowing in. Locals say it has “moods,” and you’ll never see it look quite the same twice.
Btw, if you’ve seen Moraine Lake on a computer screensaver – you’re not imagining it. For years, Windows bundled the view as one of its default wallpapers, so millions of people around the world have stared at Moraine Lake every day without even knowing where it was.
Moraine Lake might be one of the most photographed lakes on the planet, but few images became as legendary as Peter McKinnon’s “Bucket Shot.”
The shot became so iconic that the Royal Canadian Mint even released a commemorative coin featuring his variation of it.
Pair that with Moraine Lake’s own claim to fame – being on the Canadian $20 bill back in 1969 – and you’ve got a lake that just can’t stay off currency.

FAQs
There are currently three ways you can sign up for the Squad. All three options are recurring monthly payments which renew on the 1st of every month roughly 3-4AM GMT/BST.
"monthly basis" is £10/month incl VAT in GB (or an equivalent in your currency), can be cancelled at any time.
"3 month lock" is £7/month incl VAT in GB (or an equivalent in your currency), can be cancelled after your first three payments. Discount of 25% is applied because you commit to staying subscribed for at least 3 month.
"starter pack" is £89 incl VAT in GB (or an equivalent in your currency included or excluded tax if applicable) initial payment, which includes a pack of 12 previous Squad patterns + this month's pattern free of charge. Renews on the 1st of every month at £10/month just like the first option going forward, and can be cancelled any time.

Absolutely! I'm always on the look out for beautiful places. If you have a landscape scene in mind, the best thing to do is email me with your idea and some photos for reference! I consider every single suggestion!
That's totally up to you!
All Squad patterns come with 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8" templates. Depending on your preferred way of stitching (aka what type of thread you're using and how many strands of it) 5" or 6" is the sweet middle ground
I stitch all Squad patterns in 3.94" Nurge hoops using single strands of DMC Stranded Cotton (Mouline Special) and re-hoop in 2.75" hoops by Hardwicke Manor for display
Go wild, I don't mind
I call it "stitch hacking"
It's nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with the right materials and tools.
