Pilot FriXion heat-erase pen (black, 0.7mm nib / 0.5mm line)
this is my go-to tool for transferring embroidery patterns straight onto fabric. simply draw, stitch, and remove the lines with an iron or even a hair dryer. you can also erase by friction (with the built-in eraser) or with water.
I haven’t found a better transfer method – perfect if you don’t enjoy working with stabiliser sheets or tracing paper.
⚠️ safety & use:
- contains small parts, keep out of reach of children and pets.
- ink may leave a faint residue on light fabrics after removal – this is normal.
- always avoid marking areas that won’t be stitched over.
- test on a fabric scrap before use.
